IMPACT organizes more than 100 events during the festive season

(December 2015) IMPACT launched Pool Party and Sport and Family Day packages for government agencies and private companies as well as offering wedding packages with full services and promoting IMPACT Catering services, both inside and outside IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. During late 2015 and early 2016, the company has been entrusted to organize 136 events, dropping by 10% from the same period of the previous year due to economic slowdown.

IMPACT sets aside 500 million baht to build Sky Bridge and a 5-storey retail building

(December 2015) IMPACT unveils its year-end investment plan to build a 5-storey retail building at IMPACT Arena and Sky Bridge connecting buildings and function rooms of the center in order to provide convenience for customers and visitors as well as meet exhibitors’ needs of expanding exhibition space. The new facilities, which are expected to be completed in 2016, will also help stimulate demand for space at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, thus increasing occupancy rate which currently stands at around 60%.

IMPACT confident its F&B business to grow by 10-15% amidst economic downturn

(October 2015) IMPACT revealed its Food & Beverage (F&B) business outlook with confidence to see its business consistently grow by 10-15% after delivering both inside catering services to customers ranging from weddings to corporate parties and unrivalled off-site catering services which lead to the large amount of booking from the year-end to early next year to jump by 50% coupled with over 20 leading Thai, Hong Kong, Japanese, Irish and fusion-styled restaurants under management of IMPACT which constantly generate impressive income. Tsubohachi, a renowned Japanese restaurant, has recently launched its latest branch in Sukhumvit 33. In addition, IMPACT has recently appointed the new F&B director to oversee personnel development plan and to develop new menus in ‘a la minute’ style to increase its diversity of food services to support the influx of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) at the end of this year.

CONCRETE ASIA 2016, THE LARGEST CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION SHOW IN ASEAN SET TO PROVIDE THE BEST PLATFORM FOR THE ASEAN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WITH THE UPCOMING ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY (AEC)

The ASIAN CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION INSTITUTE (ACCI) together with Globe International Events Consultancy Pte Ltd (GIEC) officially announced the launch of CONCRETE ASIA 2016, the international conference and exhibition focusing on concrete machinery equipment tools and technology for the construction industry. CONCRETE ASIA 2016 is managed by IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. The event aims to support the Thai construction industry that is worth over a hundred billion baht in 2016. Also, the neighboring countries of Thailand have increasingly invested in the construction of new buildings and improving on their transport infrastructure for the upcoming AEC. More than 200 top brands and companies in the concrete construction industry will be exhibiting their innovation and technology on over 13,000 square meters of exhibit space (both indoor & outdoor) and this includes a series of international workshops and seminars with renowned professional speakers from the industry. The expected number of professional trade visitors is anticipated to be around 15,000 during the 3 days trade show at Hall 4, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center.

2nd edition of Beyond Beauty ASEAN-Bangkok cements its position as the largest and most comprehensive beauty trade show in ASEAN

Cosmetics Industry Club, FTI, will be hosting the 2nd edition of Beyond Beauty ASEAN–Bangkok 2015 (BBAB2015) as ASEAN’s most comprehensive trade platform in beauty industry. Stamford International University, in collaboration with IMPACT, introduces the "Event Management" program to develop international workforce standards for the MICE industry

Stamford International University, a member of Laureate International Universities, has collaborated with IMPACT Exhibition Management Company, Muang Thong Thani Center, one of the top 5 exhibition centers in Asia, to co-develop the “Event Management” program. The MICE (Meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) industry in Thailand has an increasing need of trained staff and the program is designed to satisfy that need and grow the MICE labor workforce to meet international standards. It has the potential to generate a national income of more than 1 trillion baht per year. The program will also raise the quality of MICE staff in Thailand to an internationally competitive level.
