IMPACT’s ice carving team wins medals and the royal trophy in Thailand's International Culinary Cup (TICC) 2019 at Food & Hotel Thailand 2019

IMPACT’s ice carving team demonstrated exceptional skills as they competed and won medals in both individual and team categories in the ice carving competition, which was part of the Thailand's International Culinary Cup (TICC) 2019 held in conjunction with Food & Hotel Thailand 2019 during September 4-7, 2019 at BITEC Bangna. The achievements earned underline IMPACT’s leadership in the service sector and professionalism in catering service provided by a team of professionals that meets international standards.

Chef Ng Wai Meng, also known as Chef Roy, Executive Chef of Kitchen at IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., said “IMPACT is committed to developing human resources to enhance individual performance and make sure that they keep up with the latest trends. Taking part in competitions motivates them to stay alert and excel their performance. Recently, our ice carving team has competed against other 14 teams in the ice carving competition, which was part of the Thailand's International Culinary Cup (TICC) 2019 held in conjunction with Food & Hotel Thailand 2019. Even though the team only had a month to prepare themselves ahead of the competition, they have demonstrated their exceptional expertise and managed to win three medals in the individual category and another one in the team category at the prestigious competition. For team ice carving, the team won a bronze medal and the royal trophy for creating the Tiger vs. Crocodile ice sculpture that symbolizes a world of highly competitive business. For the individual category, Mr. Prakorn Kulkaew earned a gold medal for carving out an outstanding and delicate ice sculpture of a fish bending towards gravity that took him 60 minutes to complete, Mr. Ritthisak Vititvuttinun won a silver medal for creating “My Hero” ice sculpture, and Mr. Supoj Srinuanjan was awarded a bronze medal for creating a mermaid. IMPACT once again takes pride in these achievements as the company is committed to providing full support to employees and encouraging them to participate in competitions to showcase their skills and unleash their creativity. These achievements also help strengthen IMPACT and drives the company’s ambition to become Thailand’s No. 1 one-stop catering service provider.”

The 25th edition of Thailand's International Culinary Cup (TICC) was co-organized by the Thailand Chefs Association and UBM Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the organizer of Food & Hotel Thailand 2019, on September 4-7, 2019 at BITEC Bangna. In addition to gold, silver, and bronze medals, the winners were also awarded with royal trophies graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The event featured seven competitions; and IMPACT sent a team of chefs to compete in the Free Style Ice Carving competition, with contestants from Thailand and other countries. This is another proof of the success of IMPACT’s ice carving team, as well as their creativity and determination to improve skills and performance, which are in line with IMPACT Catering’s commitment to maintaining the standards of one-stop catering service, both inside and outside the venue, to be on par with international standards and delivering the best possible service to customers in compliance with the food safety management system standard or ISO 22000 to achieve the highest level of customers satisfaction.
