IMPACT refreshes brand to reflect Asia’s top MICE venue vision

IMPACT refreshes its brand image with its new corporate logo, providing a synergy of its modern, confident and progressive organization.The leading exhibition and convention venue in Thailandis moving towards its business vision of ranking among the top five venues in Asia.

Along with revitalizing its brand, IMPACThas been focusing on business development byimprovingits services and state-of-the-art facilitiesto enhance awareness in the international market.  Currently, the venue offers the largest exhibition space in Thailand with over 140,000sqm of indoor space.It serves over 800 events a year including trade and consumer exhibitions and attracts 15 million visitors annually.  Top events include the 2012 Rotary International Convention, Thailand International Motor Expo, Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair, THAIFEX-World of Food Asia,Herbalife Extravaganza, Amway Expo, ITU Telecom Asia,and AIDF Asia-Pacific to name just a few.

In recent years, IMPACT has invested over 800 million Baht to add 30 new meeting rooms bringingthe total number to 52. As well, two new Banquet Halls have been added with 5,710sqm toserve a variety of functions in addition to the 3,500sqm Royal Jubilee Ballroom and 2,000sqm Grand Diamond Ballroom.

Within the next two years, additional facilities and support services to be completed includethe construction of a new hotel, Ibis, which will add 600 rooms to the existing 380 ultra-modern rooms at the Novotel Bangkok IMPACT,construction of a new 2,000-seat Auditorium, renovation of IMPACT Arenawith additional retail shops,and the renovation of the 8 multi-purpose hallsat IMPACT Exhibition Center.

Mr Paul added, “IMPACT is the country’s first MICE venue to be certified with an international standard.It successfully attained ISO22000 for Food Safety Management System; ISO50001 for Energy Management System; and TIS22300 for MICE Security Management System.  These achievements enhance IMPACT’s confidence and creates  trustwith business partners.”

This year IMPACT expectsto generate 2 billion Baht in revenue or a 10% growthover last year. The company aims to raise its international profile in order to tap the growth of the international MICE industry which is anticipated to generate 792,000 new arrivals or US$2.1 billion in revenue for Thailand in 2013.
