IMPACT ready to facilitate people attending the royal cremation ceremony for His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej

IMPACT, in collaboration with the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA), will provide free shuttle buses to facilitate the travel of the people who wish to attend the royal cremation ceremony for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej during October 23-31, 2017, with IMPACT Lakeside designated as the pick-up/drop-off and parking venue. 20,000 bottles of drinking water and 5,000 snack boxes will also be provided for government agencies to be further distributed to people attending the ceremony across Nonthaburi. Those wishing to take a free ride and planning to travel in a group are suggested to make reservation in advance by calling 089-889-8140.

Miss Jintana Phongpakdee, Director of Corporate Communications Department, IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., the operator of IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, revealed that to pay tribute to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, IMPACT has joined hands with the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) to offer free round-trip shuttle bus service on Muang Thong Thani - Sanam Luang route for people wishing to attend the royal cremation ceremony, which is scheduled for October 25-29, 2017 at the Royal Crematorium at Sanam Luang ceremonial ground. The free shuttle buses will be provided from October 23 to 31 and IMPACT Lakeside has been designated as the pick-up/drop-off and parking venue.

Twenty buses are arranged to be servicing the public on Muang Thong Thani - Sanam Luang route. Each bus can accommodate between 45 and 80 passengers per trip and will run from 5 a.m. until midnight. The bus will leave every 10 minute from IMPACT Lakeside (the main pick-up and drop-of point). The bus will take the Muang Thong Thani/Chaengwattana Expressway and exit at Yommarat junction. It will pass Lan Luang Road, the Phan Phiphop Lila Bridge, Democracy Monument, Rajadamnoen Klang Avenue, Rattanakosin Hotel (pick-up/drop-off point for the return trip). For the return trip, the bus will run along the same route passing the old Government Lottery Office and Rajadamnoen Klang Avenue before taking the Yommarat Expressway, heading towards the Muang Thong Thani/Chaengwattana Expressway and taking the exit to IMPACT Lakeside. Those wishing to take a free ride can park their cars free of charge at IMPACT Lakeside which can accommodate more than 1,000 cars.

On October 26, IMPACT will also provide 20,000 bottles of drinking water and 5,000 snack boxes for government agencies to be given away to people participating in funeral-flower laying rituals as part of the royal cremation ceremony at various locations across Nonthaburi such as Wat Bua Kwan and Wat Ku. In addition, IMPACT has presented 4,499 wood flowers made by IMPACT management team and employees as well as the general public to Pakkred District to be used in the royal cremation ceremony.
