Three organizers of world-class events - Impact, Worldex, and Rakluke Group - invested 40 million baht on "Kidscovery World: Tales & Toys", the first edutainment fair in Thailand. Expected to welcome more than 100,000 visitors, the event will take place from October 24 to 27, 2013, at Hall 3 – 4 of Impact Muang Thong Thani.

Ms. Kunwadee Jintavorn, Executive Director of Impact Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., revealed that the Company, together with the organizer of world-class events and trade shows Worldex G.E.C. Group and the expert in children and family content Rakluke Group Co., Ltd., will host “KIDSCOVERY WORLD: Tales & Toys", Thailand’s first edutainment fair, from October 24 to 27, 2013, at Hall 3 – 4 of Impact Muang Thong Thanai. This first national collaboration in hosting the children and family event spends about 40 million baht to transform the 10,000-sq.m. venue into the world of edutainment, targeting the children aged between three to twelve.

Impact is very delighted to take part in this greatest edutainment fair in Thailand. The tales has always been inseparable from the children. Most parents enhance their children’s imagination and brain development by telling stories. This fair invites the children to enter the world of imagination. With more than five years of experience in organizing the children and family fairs, Impact feels strongly confident that the event will succeed beyond the expectation.

“This great collaboration applies the strategies of each partner to create the unique and quality event and benefit the society as much as possible. The organizer expects that this four-day event will welcome a large number of visitors and become well received.

Ms. Kunwadee continued that Impact Muang Thong Thani, as one of the largest and most advanced exhibition and convention center in Asia, consists of more than 140,000 sq.m. and different sizes of venues to best serve each customers’ need and type of event.  With the quality teamwork and full facility, Impact feels confident in its potential for organizing the highest quality event. Besides Bangkok, “KIDSCOVERY WORLD” will take place in Chiang Mai, Udon Thani and Surat Thani.

Mr. Nikom Lertmalligaporn, the President of Worldex G.E.C. Co., Ltd., said that Worldex has core business in organizing local and international trade shows. The Company had co-organized Kids of the World with Impact before KIDSCOVERY WORLD. With experience in many business lines in several countries, Worldex can foresee the trends and movement of different industries.

The Company sees that the products for children and families still enjoy the continued growth. The parents purchase items for their children by considering the safety, high

standard and multi-purpose use. These items must also support both physical and mental development of the children.

Mr. Nikom added that the Company invites the entrepreneurs in the industry to participate in this event, which is well received. Next, the Company plans to strengthen the overseas network and invite the manufacturers in foreign countries to set up the booths in International Pavilion zone. This will color up the event and bring new themes to the children and family trade show. Furthermore, it will stir the movement in the industry of toy and children products and ensure a wider range of selection.

Ms. Chanida Intaravisut, Managing Director of Rakluke Group Co.,Ltd., revealed that the Company is now more aggressively targeting the event marketing to extend the content business for children and families as well as pre-

teens, which is the Company’s strength.   “KIDSCOVERY WORLD”, the edutainment fair co-organized with Impact and Worldex, will be planned as a grand annual event.

In this first year, the event is presented under the concept of “Tales & Toys”, sponsored by Thai Life Insurance. It will be divided into two zones to ensure that the participating children and parents will enjoy the event while having a good memory and feel impressed with toys and tales, which will lead to their enhanced imagination, love for reading and learning development.

In the 2,000-sq.m. Tales zone, the children will enter the world of fairy tale. Under the concept of mini indoor theme park, this zone is featured by the arts of storytelling and other supporting activities, such as listening to the music, singing, games and discussion. They will also be entertained by a parade of clown, magician and four classic tales, namely Red Riding Hood, Jack the Giant Slayer, Snow White and Seven Dwarfs, and Hansel and Gratel. These activities aimed to ensure that the children will learn the tales in a fun way and different angles.

Toys zone features toy shops and 1,000-sq.m. plaza that provides a variety of fun-filled activities, such as the children’s all-time favorite cartoon characters, Tamiya car race, “Robot for Kids” contest and game machines. On the area of 8,000-sq.m., about 150 booths offer a wide array of toys and the exhibition displays the development of Thai and international toys.

“In this event, we intend to create the children’s true learning experience, which cannot be found in the classroom. Four tales will be presented in different angles. For instance, everyone can become Snow White only if they constantly do good deeds. The dwafs are not a freak; they are human beings just like us. In Hansel and Gratel, we will teach the children to have wits and obey their parents,” said Ms. Chanida.  The event also different types of toys so that the children can learn and play in groups. This will teach them the discipline and how to share.

More activities include storytelling, painting contest and storytelling performance. Another must-attend stage performance is the longest kid fashion show in Thailand. It gives the children a chance to fully express their talent. The parade of cartoon characters and the characters from four tales will also entertain the visitors. In “Toys for Toys” section, the visitors can donate their toys to the disadvantaged children in the orphanages under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.

Ms. Chanida continued that after organizing the event in Bangkok, the Company plans to host this event in three cities next year: Chiang Mai on December 27 – 29, 2013 (during New Year’ Eve), Udonthani on Janurary 10 – 12 (during the National Children’s Day), and Surat Thani on March 28 – 30 (during the school break). The event in Bangkok is expected to welcome more than 100,000 visitors.
