“HEI YIN” introduces auspicious meal sets and delectable Hong Kong-style a la carte menus for the Chinese New Year celebration

“HEI YIN”, the authentic Cantonese restaurant spearheaded by Hong Kong native chef Jacky Chan, who has more than 40 years of culinary experience, invites everyone to celebrate Chinese New Year 2023, the Year of the Rabbit, with three auspicious meal sets meticulously crafted from fine quality ingredients imported from Hong Kong and many other countries. The meal sets, priced at 28,000++ - 58,000++ baht, are perfect for family get-togethers. A diverse array of a la carte options are also available, with prices ranging from 160 - 8,000 baht. The auspicious meals sets and a la carte menus are available from January 14 through January 22, 2023.

The three auspicious meal sets are made with the finest ingredients, mostly imported from Hong Kong, to ensure the quality and to best imitate the original flavors. Each set comprises nine auspicious recipes.

1. Set Gong Xi Fa Cai (58,000++ baht for 10 persons) includes “Turbot fish salad ‘Yu Sheng’”, “Braised Superior Whole Shark's Fin in Brown Soup”, “Lychee Wood Roasted Hong Kong Suckling Pig”, “Luxurious Abalone Poon Choi”, “Braised Premium Fish Maw with Japanese Sea Cucumber in Abalone Sauce”, “Stir-fried Australian Lobster with Crispy Noodles and X.O. Sauce”, which symbolizes longevity, “Turbot Fish with Mapo Tofu”, “Steamed Sticky Rice with Chinese Sausage”, and “Steamed Glutinous Rice Flour filled with Lotus Seed Paste and Lucky Dumpling with Custard.”

2. Set Powerful (48,000++ baht for 10 persons) consists of “Turbot Fish Salad ‘Yu Sheng’”, the signature “‘HEI YIN’ Style Boneless Chicken stuffed with Shark’s Fin in Supreme Broth”, “Lychee Wood Roasted Peking Duck”, “Luxurious Abalone Poon Choi”, “Stir-fried Sliced Conch and Prawns with Broccoli and Sichuan Sauce”, “ Stir-fried Australian Lobster with Crispy Noodles and X.O. Sauce”, “Turbot Fish with Mapo Tofu”, juicy and tender “Millionaire Braised Pork Knuckle with Chinese Herb”, and “Steamed Glutinous Rice Flour filled with Lotus Seed Paste and Lucky Dumpling with Custard.”

3. Set Lucky & Happiness (28,000 ++ baht for 10 persons) features “Salmon Salad ‘Yu Sheng’”, which symbolizes prosperity, “Superior Lobster Bisque with Abalone, Fish Maw and Shredded Chicken”, “Lychee Wood Roasted Peking Duck” with crispy skin and smoky aroma, “Luxurious Abalone Poon Choi”, which represents an endless flow of fortune, “Stir-fried Broccoli with Crab Meat, Mushrooms and Shrimp Roes”, “Braised Fish Maw and Goose Webs with Abalone Sauce”, “Steamed Boston Lobster with Garlic and Glass Noodles”, “Millionaire Braised Pork Knuckle with Chinese Herb”, and “Steamed Glutinous Rice Flour filled with Lotus Seed Paste and Lucky Dumpling with Custard.”

A la carte menu items are also available, with prices ranging from 160 - 8,000 baht, including “Turbot Fish Salad ‘Yu Sheng’”, “Salmon Salad ‘Yu Sheng’”, “Luxurious Abalone Poon Choi”, “Stir-fried Broccoli with Crab Meat, Mushrooms and Shrimp Roes”, “Stir-fried Hokkaido Scallops with Pok Choi and Salted Egg Yolk Sauce”, “Steamed Boston Lobster with Garlic and Glass Noodles”, “Sautéed Prawns with Scrambled Milk Egg Whites”, “Steamed Sticky Rice with Chinese Sausage”, “Steamed Glutinous Rice Flour filled with Lotus Seed Paste”, and “Lucky Dumpling with Custard”.
