The opening ceremony of the 1st Blue Flag Fair

Gen. Patamapong Prathormpat, Vice Minister of Commerce, and Mr. Boonyarit Kalayanamit, Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade, presided over the opening ceremony of the 1^st Blue Flag Flair which is considered as a New Year gift for Thai people. The fair is aimed at easing the impact of the rising cost of living by offering quality consumer necessities at affordable prices as well as increasing happiness among Thai people during the festive season, in accordance with government policy. It features a wide range of consumer products and agriculture goods as well as processed food products which will be sold at 20-40 per cent below market prices. The event is being held on December 11 - 15, 2014 at Hall 5 - 6, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
