IMPACT invests over 30 million Baht for Free Wi-Fi service

Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., which manages and operates IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, said that in addition to integrated facilities and excellent services, unrestricted means of communication is also an essential factor to be at the forefront in today’s competitive business environment. The internet has become part of everyone’s daily life, regardless of gender, age and profession, as it allows easy and quick access to information.

Realizing the importance of the internet, IMPACT has therefore invested over 30 million Baht to provide Free Wi-Fi service to customers, and is the very first venue to provide such an Internet connection free of charge. IMPACT has partnered with True Internet to set up Wi-Fi system which covers three main buildings including IMPACT Challenger, IMPACT Forum and IMPACT Arena (except Exhibition Hall as IMPACT is still under contract with another provider). The service, however, has already been provided for customers for a trial during crowded events such as Motor Expo and Motor Show.

Visitors can connect their mobile devices to IMPACT’s free Wi-Fi by simply choosing the network “@IMPACT free Wi-Fi”. After that, log into the page that requires a username and password registered with data and identification number. Then, it is working right away. Usage is limited to one hour per day per person with a maximum speed of 4 Mbps.

In addition, IMPACT “True Wi-Fi Maximum” prepaid internet card offering speed up to 12 Mbps is also available at Business Center for visitors who require higher speed Internet. There are three choices available - 1-day package costs 50 Baht, 7-day package costs 90 Baht, and 1-moth package costs 150 Baht. The visitor can also find this True Internet card at any True Service provider which is even more convenient.

IMPACT free Wi-Fi and IMPACT True Wi-Fi Maximum are now available while IMPACT Premium Wi-Fi with a maximum speed of 200 Mbps will soon be available to meet the need of every customer and visitor.
