IMPACT upgrades CRM strategy to tap its 10 million visitors market

(November 2012) IMPACT upgrades its CRM program by launching the IMPACT Member Card this November 28. The program is expected to draw up to 100,000 members within 2 years with special privileges from retails, restaurants, and services around IMPACT. In addition, it adds a new VIP lounge serving food and beverages as well as Wi-Fi services for its members.  The company forecasts that it will be able to achieve at least 10% growth in members per year.

Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co Ltd., revealed that the IMPACT Member Card program is part of the company’s new Customer Relationship Management strategy that compliments the growth of its exhibition and convention business. The company recognizes the need to reward its customers, both show organizers/exhibitors and visitors who are the key success indicators of each event in terms of attendance and revenue generated ateach show.

“We are enhancing our CRM strategy and extending more benefits to our customers. The IMPACT Member Card is developed from our IMPACT Society Card program with many more benefits and activities to introduce to members.Initially, IMPACT Card members will eligible for special discounts from various shops and outlets including all 7 of IMPACT’s leading restaurants, the Novel Bangkok IMPACT, travel services from Total Reservation, and other benefits from IMPACT’s business alliances such as True.

IMPACT Card’s members can also enjoy our new VIP lounge decorated in a modern theme. This lounge is located at the lobby of Atrium 2, IMPACT Challenger and can accommodate up to 50 members at a time. At the lounge we provide food, beverages, and Wi-Fi service as well as massage chairs. In addition, 126 reserved parking spacesare available for members. According to Mr.Paul, IMPACT has been operating its CRM program since 2010. Two initial programs that have had great success are the IMPACT Corporate Reward program which is currently serving 500 exhibitors and corporate members, and the IMPACT Society Card program that rewards the visitor market and has 40,000 registered members.

“IMPACT has over 800 events organized at its venuesevery year with 10 million visitors. The new CRM program with greater benefits is expected to attract 100,000 members within two years. Meanwhile, the company expects that the numbers will continue to grow 5-10% a year in line with the trend of the company’s business expansion.” said Mr Paul.
