yama debuted in 2020 with the single “Haru wo Tsugeru", which quickly gained attention and surpassed over 130 million streams on YouTube. The song showcased yama’s incredible vocal range and expressive abilities. yama has continued to release a string of successful singles and TV anime songs, which have further solidified their position as a rising J-pop star.

In addition to their powerful voice and music styles that make yama stand out, they are renowned for their introspective and honest song-writing. yama’s lyrics often explore themes of love, self-discovery, and personal growth, and the ability to convey raw emotions through music has struck a chord with listeners, establishing a deep connection with fans.
