IMPACT joins 3 leading Thai universities to organize ‘Kla MICE’ with the objective of enhancing and accelerating the development of MICE’s human resource for a greater potential in business operations in industrial sector as well as encouraging continuous income flow of the country. ‘Kla MICE’ project which IMPACT has collaborated with Exhibition and Evening Organizing Major of the Faculty of Management Science, Silpakorn University is the first university-level pilot project aiming to let students learn from performing real tasks in real locations allowing them to have an intensive hands-on experience of the overall business operation. Such opportunity will pave the way for them to improve the potentiality of professional MICE human resources. After this, IMPACT also planned to partner with another 2 universities, namely Kasetsart University and Sripatum University with the goal to establish ‘MICE Academy’ within 5 years as an important driving force to encourage revenue from MICE industry into Thailand.

SILMO Bangkok 2019 gathers over 250 international eyewear brands under one roof
Bangkok, Thailand, 5 June 2019 - SILMO Bangkok 2019 (“SILMO”) will be welcoming over 250 eyewear brands from 15 countries over the next three days, with the aim to create new opportunities for Thai eyewear entrepreneurs at this global trade fair. Organized by IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. (“IMPACT”), the fair will unveil the newest eyewear collections by worldwide leading brands for the first time in ASEAN, as well as showcase unique eyewear designs under the concept of “The Art of Siam”, from 5-7 June 2019, at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Hall 8.

(June 2019) In response to the current trend towards saving the planet, IMPACT is committed to the international standard for energy management or ISO 50001 and aims to reduce energy consumption by 4% in 2019 by replacing conventional appliances with LEDs, installing solar rooftop panels and using eco-friendly materials to serve customers, while encouraging employees to save energy, recycle and reuse. The company saved more than 800,000 baht in electricity costs in the first quarter of this year.

IMPACT reinforced its leadership in food and catering services that are on par with international standards by sending the IMPACT bakery chef team to compete on in the Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge 2019 (TUCC), a 5-day culinary competition at THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2019, Asia's largest food and beverage trade show. IMPACT chef team competed in three categories: Chef Sarunyu Laongpao competed in the Free Style Showpieces category, Chef Navapong Rungjang competed in Different Individually Western Plated Dessert category, and Chef Sudthipan Dangpad represented in the Petites Four/Pralines dessert category.
